NewtKnight: Well I guess you could say that Hitler thought that the Germans needed their freedom too. The freedom from civilians to own guns. the freedom of the world to be rid of the Jews. You can wrap everything into freedom. does the freedom your sugesting benefit society? why is it ok for gays to be married and not poligamist. why is it ok to destroy life in order to preserve it for another life. and what is productive about allowing drugs to be legal. what are the social problems that goes with that.

KidsTrax: None of those things are freedoms. I don't have a problem with polygamy if it's consensual. Abortions are consensual and since the baby is dead anyway it can be used to save another life. Marijuana is no worse then alcohol so having it be legal would increase business. The "social problems" would be no worse then alcohol's "social problems". Also nice use of Godwin's law.

KidsTrax: The deficit doesn't do anything economically and won't because of paygo policies. She didn't know they were "doing" them only that there was a chance they might be doing them. Our sec of defense was serving since 06 so Obama had nothing to do with him.

NewtKnight: Deficits do effect things. such as inflation as well as our triple A credit rating in the world. We have had this rating since 1917. but it is now being questioned. Pelosi said today that she was lied to by the CIA, If a CIA official lies to congress they can be brought up on charges, no charges have been filed. The Sec of Defence was a sitting Sentaor in 2003 and voted to allow the President the use of force. and did not back down during her campaign. I never blamed Obama.

NewtKnight: Very good, though i have to admit i was playing devels advocate. a bit. in my honest opinion i agree with the Polygamy issue. I dont agree with the use of embryo's though because i think that any society that except the death a living human for the health of another human is just wrong. and there is much to be learned about adult stem cells. Its an exciting area of science. I agree with your marijuana issue. but manley because i think the war on drugs is a failure. and a waste of money.
